Meet Adam Bielefeldt Schou, SKIOLD VIetnam

Adam Bielefeldt Schou has been hired as Regional Manager at SKIOLD's office in Vietnam and is responsible for further strengthening SKIOLD's position in the Vietnamese market.

SKIOLD has had a well-functioning office in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam for more than 10 years, and this presence is now being strengthened as SKIOLD sees Southeast Asia as one of the group's growth markets.

Adam Bielefeldt Schou has been appointed Regional Manager and will be responsible for strengthening SKIOLD's position in the Vietnamese market even further. He will also manage SKIOLD's office with six employees.

The staff currently consists of two technical managers, two technical supervisors, one salesperson and one administrative employee.

‘It's a well-functioning organisation that I will be leading, and we will continue the good work with a focus on being present and ready to help both current and new customers and our dealers professionally,’ says Adam Bielefeldt Schou.

The new leader describes the organisation as a good team consisting of skilled, experienced and competent employees.

‘They have been part of SKIOLD for three to eight years, and it is a great advantage that they all know both the SKIOLD organisation and especially SKIOLD's products. At the same time, they have a number of different competences, which makes me confident that we have the right team,’ says Adam Bielefeldt Schou.

Although the name is Danish, the new head of SKIOLD's department in Vietnam has in-depth knowledge of the Asian market and Asian culture. From 1 January 2024 until February 2025, he was Production Manager on a large SKIOLD project in North Vietnam.

With an education as a farmer, where he has worked with feed on farms in Denmark, Iceland and China, it is natural for Adam Bielefeldt Schou to think about the entire value chain for the farmer. This ranges from purchasing raw materials, processing raw materials in the feed mill to feeding different animal groups and, last but not least, the farmer's profit.

‘The combination of raw materials and feed mill equipment provides the farmer's output and profit,’ says Adam Bielefeldt Schou.

With his experience and competence, he looks forward to strengthening SKIOLD's position in Southeast Asia.

‘I worked with feed on farm in China for four years, but due to corona I decided to return to Denmark, where I spent three years as an independent farmer. However, my time in China had confirmed that as a person and leader, I fit in well with the Asian culture and way of working. That's why I'm also looking forward to leading SKIOLD here in Vietnam,’ says Adam Bielefeldt Schou.
