New NamViet Pilmico feed mill in Vietnam

A modern feed mill supporting local feed production

With the new feed mill, NamViet Pilmico strengthens its production capacity and contributes to the supply of high-quality feed for producers in the region.

On 26 September 2025, NamViet Pilmico officially inaugurated its new and modern feed mill in Vietnam. The event marked the completion of a major project developed in cooperation with SKIOLD, with the aim of increasing local production capacity and supporting the growth of aquaculture and livestock production in the region.

More than 700 guests attended the inauguration, including customers, business partners and representatives from SKIOLD. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation and teamwork in overcoming challenges throughout the development of the project.

Strong collaboration from design to commissioning

SKIOLD has supplied the main equipment and technology for the new feed mill. The plant has been designed to provide high efficiency, consistent product quality and flexibility in production.

The SKIOLD solution includes:

• Two SK780 disc mills to ensure efficient grinding and low energy consumption
• Four pelleting lines for high-capacity feed production
• A complete aquaculture feed processing line for the production of feed for fish and shrimp
• Feed mill automation and process control systems for safe and reliable operation

The new feed mill will produce a wide range of high-quality feeds for aquaculture and livestock production, adapted to the nutritional requirements of local producers.

Overcoming challenges through close cooperation

The project began during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period characterised by significant challenges related to supply chains and international logistics.

Despite these challenges, the SKIOLD and NamViet Pilmico teams maintained close cooperation throughout the entire process – from initial planning and engineering to installation and commissioning of the feed mill.

Through efficient communication and strong teamwork, the project was successfully completed, and the new facility is ready for large-scale production.

Future focus on quality and service

With the new feed mill in operation, NamViet Pilmico will be able to supply high-quality feed to local producers and contribute to the sustainable development of food production in Vietnam.

The new facility is designed for efficient large-scale production and prepared to meet future market demands.

In addition to delivering the complete installation, SKIOLD continues to provide technical support and service to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the plant for many years to come.

This project demonstrates how SKIOLD supports producers worldwide with innovative and efficient feed production solutions – from the initial concept and engineering to complete production.
