SKIOLD has expertise in high-pressure cooling and sprinkling, which through advanced climate control ensures optimal conditions for animals and economy. Unlike a traditional ‘low-pressure system’, SKIOLD high-pressure cooling delivers water at around 70 bar. The patented nozzle system ensures extremely fine atomisation of the water. This ensures that almost all of the water evaporates before it reaches animals or equipment. This evaporation requires energy, which is extracted from the air in the stable. This is how the cooling effect is achieved.

SKIOLD high-pressure cooling is regulated with the SKIOLD climate computer. Built-in max-moisture stop prevents overdosing. The animal and equipment must not get wet and the air must not feel ‘heavy and humid’. Intelligent regulation gradually increases cooling as the need increases. This ensures the most appropriate cooling effect without large fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
