NamViet Feed Mill Grand Opening

With this new feed mill, NamViet Pilmico looks forward to supplying premium feed to local farmers.

On September 26th, 2025, NamViet Pilmico proudly hosted the grand opening of their new, modern feed mill in Vietnam. The celebration marked the successful completion of an important project for both NamViet and SKIOLD – a project that strengthens local feed production capacity and supports the growing aquaculture and livestock industries in the region.

More than 700 guests attended the event, including business partners, local farmers, and representatives from SKIOLD. Two keynote speakers addressed the audience: Mr. An, owner of NamViet, and Mr. Adam Schou, Regional Manager at SKIOLD. Both highlighted the value of strong partnerships, innovation, and shared commitment in overcoming the challenges encountered during the project’s development.

A Strong Partnership from Design to Operation

SKIOLD has been the main supplier of equipment and technology for the new feed mill. The facility is designed to deliver high efficiency, consistent product quality, and flexibility in production.

The SKIOLD scope of supply includes:

• Two SK780 Disc Mills ensuring optimal grinding performance and energy efficiency
• Four advanced pellet press lines for high-capacity feed production
• A complete aqua feed processing line designed for fish and shrimp feed
• Process automation and control systems for safe and reliable operation

The new feed mill will produce a wide range of high-quality feed for aquaculture and livestock, tailored to meet the nutritional needs of local farmers.

Overcoming Challenges Through Collaboration

The project was initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period that brought global supply chain disruptions and logistical challenges. Despite these obstacles, the project teams from SKIOLD and NamViet Pilmico maintained close communication and effective coordination throughout the entire process.

“This project is a true example of what can be achieved when two dedicated partners share the same vision,” says Adam Schou, Regional Manager at SKIOLD. “Thanks to the strong cooperation between our teams, we have been able to deliver a complete solution that meets the customer’s expectations.”

After months of joint planning, installation, and commissioning, the feed mill has now been handed over to a happy and satisfied customer – ready to begin full-scale production.
