Industrial feed manufacturer reduces power consumption by 50%

Per ton feed manufactured on the disc mill compared to the hammer mill

SKIOLD has just signed a contract with VIET DUC INT. NUTRITION in Vietnam for a SKIOLD Disc mill as well as complete conveying equipment and control system. Viet Duc wants to increase production from 130 to 230 tons of feed for pigs and poultry per day. Currently they are using a hammer mill.

By adding a SKIOLD disc mill, Viet Duc anticipates to reduce power consumption by 50 % per ton feed manufactured on the disc mill compared to the hammer mill. This is a major saving, due to the fact that electricity costs in Vietnam are equal to e.g. Denmark. We look forward working on this project.
