Swedish customer expanding

With a feed mill for 28.000 pigs

In Sweden, close to the polar circle, you will find Nyhléns Hugosons, a loyal SKIOLD customer of many years. They are expanding their production from 15.000 to 28.000 pigs. The new farm will be 7500 m2 with a production of 28.000 pigs. The farm is located in a rural area situated far from the nearest slaughterhouse. Because of the rules for max. transportation time of pigs in Sweden, the farm also has its own slaughterhouse and sales of end products.

Nyhléns Hugosons are pursuing sustainable agriculture. The farm has a biogas solution, which means that they produce their own electricity. The meat is manufactured and sold locally, thus not requiring additional energy for transportation and a SKIOLD feed milling solution also limits transportation.
