Largest increase since the 1990's

More and more Danish farmers wish to convert to organic farming. It is expected that 1128 farmers will convert to organic farming during next year, corresponding to 40,000 hectares. Danish ecology is known for its high quality, and Denmark actually has the highest market share of organic food.  Sales of organic products has doubled since 2007, increasing from $ 3.6 billion to app. $ 7 billion. At the same time, exports rose from $ 0.5 billion in 2007 to $ 1.7 billion in 2014. (Source:Landbrugsavisen+www.lf.dk) 

As a consequence of this, we see a demand for traceability, which can be achieved by on-farm production of feed.
