Grain conveying

SKIOLD bucket elevators are designed for vertical transportation of grain and meal products. The elevators are built from modules, which can be put together to a max. height of 40 meters. The elevator pipe is made in 1,5-2,0 mm plate, head and foot in 2,0-4,0 mm. The elevators are supplied with ATEX certified gear motor and back-stop as standard, and with a wide selection of accessories it is possible to meet most demands.

SKIOLD's chain conveyors are available in several sizes, with capacities ranging from 10 to 400 tons/hour, and are used for horizontal transportation. The chain conveyors are made in heavy-duty material, either galvanized or stainless steel. The chain conveyors are supplied with ATEX certified gear motors as standard. The standard chain conveyor is equipped with wear and guide rail in the bottom plate, but we can also deliver with 10 mm heavy-duty non-friction bottom for quiet operation.

The SKIOLD chain conveyors type CL are designed for horizontal or inclined conveying. The construction is completely closed, and the rounded bottom and turn end ensure optimized self-emptying and thereby low contamination risk. The CL series provides a reliable and low powered conveying of dry grain, minerals, granulates or feed products, i.e. ordinary, small-grained crops, meal and feed pellets.

SKIOLD's trough augers are available in three sizes (U100, U150, U200) in galvanized material. They are suitable for horizontal transportation of meal, grain, granulate, and pellets. The trough augers are of strong quality made in heavy-duty material, which ensures long service life, even with many daily start-ups/stops and many operational hours. The trough augers have a capacity of up to 50 tons/hour, max. length 45 meters, and are supplied with ATEX certified gear motor drive.

SKIOLD's range of tubular augers comprises two models, Ø102 and Ø152 mm, both in galvanized execution, which ensures long service life. The tubular augers are suitable for transportation of grain, meal products, granulate, and pellets, with capacities from 1 to 30 tons/hour. With center pipe and auger flights in heavy-duty metal thickness, the tubular augers are also suitable for use in modern plants with many operational hours.

With a vast range of accessories including different kinds of inlets, outlets, and connections, SKIOLD's tubular augers are very flexible and applicable for any type of dosing. The augers are supplied with direct gear motor drive solely with ATEX certified motors.

SKIOLD's flexible augers are available in two dimensions, Ø75 and Ø90 mm. The flight is made in flat spring steel with ultimate stress, ensuring stable operation. The drive sections are always supplied with gear motor, and can be placed by the inlet or the outlet. SKIOLD's flexible augers are suitable in feeding systems, and we have a wide selection of outlets for automatic filling of feed dispensers.
