SKIOLD Maximat automatic feeder for weaners and finishers

Maximat Feeder

SKIOLD has once again lead the way with the newest generation of feeding equipment. The feeders have essential details like for example slip angles in the hopper that prevent feed cluttering so well that even feeds with high contents of moist and fat slide through the hopper, through the dosing unit and into the trough. The Maximat machines are easy to clean without the need for any tools. Furthermore the Maximat Feeder has 26 unique settings for accurate dosing of feed depending on the number of pigs and the specific type of feed.

Maximat Weaner

MaxiMat® Weaner is ideal for weaners. The slip angles in the hopper minimize feed cluttering so well that even feeds with high contents of moist and fat slide through the hopper, through the dosing unit and into the trough. The rotating and resilient dosing unit is easy to activate, even for weaners. The trough is of cast polyester concrete or stainless steel and contains a feeding section as well as a separate water section for one side. The feeder can serve up to 60 weaners.

In order to protect the slats in the eating area, a cast tile can be fitted. The tile also works as a small landing.

Maximat Porker

The basic principles for Maximat Porker are the same as for Maximat Weaner. MaxiMat® Porker is also hygienic, easy to clean and robust. MaxiMat Porker is based on a stainless steel trough with drinking nipples at each side. The MaxiMat Porker serves up to 40 finishers.

MaxiMat® Aqua with built-in drip-watering is SKIOLD's weaner drinking trough, an ideal solution applicable for weaners up to 30 kgs. The dripping of water into the trough makes the water move, and this attracts the weaners - hence the water consumption is increased. The water flow is easily adjusted using the regulator. A conventional water tube with a drinking valve is also fitted. The weaners very quickly learn to use the drinking valve. The trough itself is spring-suspended and is therefore very easy to drain and clean.
