Electronic Sow Feeding Station

Based on many years of experience and knowledge, SKIOLD has designed and developed an electronic feeding station that offers great potential for improved feeding efficiency, animal welfare and user-friendliness. There are no sharp edges or corners inside the feeding station. This means that the sows can easily pass through the station without risking injury. At the same time, the trough is designed to suit the sows' natural eating behaviour.

The feeding station is constructed from SKIOLD's unique composite materials, which ensure a long life span and high hygiene standards. It has air-controlled entrance gates and air-controlled access to the feed trough. The new generation also places extra focus on animal welfare and user-friendliness. In other words, SKIOLD has created an extremely user-friendly and reliable feeding station.

Unique rinsing system

A built-in cleaning system automatically rinses the trough after feeding. This helps prevent the accumulation of old feed and ensures that the system provides fresh feed to each sow every time. Manual rinsing is also an option as part of the daily routines.

Colour marking

If you do not have a separation pen, and you need to mark individual sows, a colour spray system is available for installation above the eating area. The spray system can operate with up to three different colours.
